Marc Ian Barasch

Marc Ian Barasch, author of the excellent Healing Dreams (Riverhead Books, 2000), advocates a multileveled approach to dreams; he makes a strong case that one dream can have half a dozen messages, some straightforward, some symbolic, some clairvoyant or synchronistic, only becoming apparent over time--years in some cases. Here are examples of his approach, including some of his own dreams. I'd recommend starting with Thyroid--it describes the shocking eruption of nightmares that forced him to learn dreamwork... and also saved his life.
