DAD ON THE BOARD
Dreamed 1981/2/12 by Chris Wayan
My dad has a plan to take over Stanford University, or some big nonprofit near it. He and a bunch of his friends break into a board meeting and jump into into the laps of the board members, squashing them down into their chairs.
My dad says "No lawyer in the world can say we're not sitting on the Board of Directors!"
The Directors realize it's true. So of course Dad and friends get to vote...
They promptly enlarge the Board to include even more of their buddies and then take over the organization. They turn it into a publisher of a satirical college magazine like Harvard Lampoon. Successfully. For decades! I can't believe he got away with it.
He got away with it.
Of course he got away with it. This is capitalism, remember? You can get away with anything.
