640 x 460, 1990. Digital painting by Chris Wayan.
I took a friend to San Francisco International Airport. Suddenly I saw the runways as animals must--as vast subtle-colored marshes with barren strips... and howling surrealisms overhead.
I replaced the planes with these abstract facelike things to remove the familiarity, so you could see it... but this is no dream.
We really built this.
Loud, isn't it?
