Dance classes, once you're beyond basic technique, tend to go for La Grande Passion--understandable, since Euro-American art in general likes human drama, one big emotional focus. Just as they liked (until recently) a king, or a pope, or something. Centralized. Maybe that's not Euro, it's just human.
But as a small animal myself, I wonder if maybe I'm more of an emotional grape picker: a little feeling here, a little feeling there, never a watermelon, always a grape.
I mean always a bridesmaid, never a bride.
