CLOCKMAN HEDGEHOG
1992 nondream digital picture by Chris Wayan
Clockwork birdman tries and tries
but hedgehog hair woman just... byes.
I'm the figure on the right, composed of time: alarm clocks, warning I'm all grown up and the clock for love is ticking. I better make time to look. (The biological clock gets men too, though they rarely admit it.)
So I gather my shreds of courage and ask out the woman with the advisory hedgehog on her head (from that old Incredible String Band song about the hedgehog who keeps warning a man he misunderstands women: "You know all the words and you sing all the notes, but you never quite learned the song...")
