Secrets of the Teetering Stupa
Dreamed before 1998 by Carl Linkhart

You're only given a moment to unlock the rocky
wells of Burma's past. You drop in from the present to find an old detour down a wandering broken road through ravines, poppy fields and bamboo jungles. The locals rarely see a stranger out here on the edges of Arcadia, yet still a native is willing to give a tour of a puzzling gold-leafed stupa, balancing pre- cariously near the shore.Teetering in frozen time, it lures you with shimmering magnetism. A fisherman struggles on a stormy lake. I'm given a key to enter a recently built tunnel. They believe Buddha's tooth is at the end, submerged in yellow glass. The sun falls. Your moment is over. |
