Wayan Says

Advisory dream 1986/5/23, transformation dream 1991/7/25, silkpainting 1992/5/9, silk painting 1992/5/9, digital image 1994/2/25, by Chris Wayan

I dreamed a sort of lion cub told me my real name was Wayan. Since then, I keep meeting cat people--or being them.

Me as a cheetah girl on a branch.
So I painted this banner to hang above my bed, reminding me not to believe I'm human, and overwork.

I'm not! I'm a lean loose cheetah who works best in short bursts and long rests in the sun.
