Animangel

Surreal comic inspired by Kenneth Patchen's picture-poems; sketched 1983/10/1, inked 2010 by Chris Wayan

Winged creature in space. A fat star-nosed mole on the ground. Words: 'Star:t. An image. Anima. Animal. A mage. Animan. Animangel. Even when my animangel shouts 'who? Who? Who?' Who I can be... I don't believe, and stay a mole unmoved. Yet fed by earth, I grow a star.'
