Dreams in Ink

Ink drawings... I like color so much I tend to tint my ink work later on the computer, turning it hybrid. That's why this list is so short--I no longer even recognize a lot of dream art that started out as ink. Also, most cartoonists eventually render their pencil art in ink for presentation, but I make a lot of mistakes, so I've learned to stick with pencil for erasability, and finish it off digitally--it saves labor and looks fresher to me. Still, ink gives such vivid contrasts--as dramatic as dreams. Try it at least.

RELATED TOPICS: pencil - paintings - watercolor - pure digital - photocollages and altered photos - crayon and pastel - felt pen - asian style brushwork - art experiments - comix - sculpture - abstraction - surrealism - landscape - figure studies and studio art - See also the full INDEX OF SUBJECTS.
