Stage Failure
Dreamed before 2000 by Dana Hughes, drawn by Jesse Reklaw.
SOURCE: Jesse Reklaw's Dreamtoons, 2000, Shambhala.com; selections from his online comic Slow Wave, in which Reklaw draws others' dreams.
EDITOR'S NOTE
Endless dream manuals urge us to be positive, conquer our fears, and overcome nightmares. This dream points out the brutal opposite. Dreams often say things you want to ignore. Such as: there are times and places and (especially) social crowds you should just give up on. Is it your failure or theirs? No matter. What matters is: when to quit.
