I'm not sure what this scene is about, but it's not a dream. On stage, I think; a distorted childhood memory. My godmother was a drama teacher and I saw a lot of plays as a kid... but I haven't a clue here. All that came across was the feeling--her naked grief and outrage, like the climax of a Greek tragedy (which it may be), and the standing figure's impersonal bronze mask...
