Cetaceans

Dreams of whales, dolphins, porpoises, orcas, and narwhals. Marine mammals often seem to symbolize dreaming itself--intelligent airbreathers immersed in the sea are like the conscious mind immersed in a dream, I guess. But cetaceans may stand for many things, for those who've studied them: dolphins' wise-ass psychology and sharp social smarts, whale songs and longevity (200 years proven, and probably more), orcas' ferocity and tribal variations, narwhals' legendary healing powers, river dolphins' blindness compensated for by incredible sonar...
