Dreamed 2018/9/20 by Wayan

Why do the villagers fear that girl
who practices the shifter-spell?

Snout sprouts out. Wolf-tail, ears prick,
and... feathers? A bastardizing trick

but harm?

She lets me try the spell. Become a swirl
of wolf, bird and startled human girl.

Raven's laugh. And farsight. Sen-
sual wolf-warmth. A smoky blend.

Triune I
can fly!

Heavy--not too high, but O to lift beyond
inn-gossip, mill, the muddy pond.

A glorious air-swim minute I can be
Above mere human me: flash free.

I'm a winged wolf-girl flying over a mill. Dream sketch by Wayan. Click to enlarge.
