Revenants
This term is not common today, but dreamworkers should know it, for the phenomenon is as common as ever: dead loved ones (or hated ones!) returning or reviving in dreams. They may be mere ghosts (or phone calls, the modern equivalent) or solid--the dead alive again. You can even be a revenant yourself, as in Dead Rights, Funeral Foodfight, Sporecount or The Peak Where I Died.
Many such dreams are private and emotionally intense, even harrowing. But not every revenant's heavy. Or private. Revenants listed here include such notables as President Coolidge and Donald Duck. Context, my friends, context!
