Dreamverses
Dreamverses are listed bloggily: newest at the top.
Why Dreamverses? I've been reading famous poets, and they're uninspiring me. Their dreams seem few and dull. Butchered, too--treated as raw material. So in Dreamverses I'll treat the dreams as just that--universes--real tales I tell. If that constrains poetic license too much... oh, well.
So far I've found the pace brutal--I rewrite a lot, and want more time to polish. Agh! But I've been amazed how enthusiastically my dreams co-operated with the project: a flash-flood of short vivid wild dreams just begging to be written up as poems.
Would I recommend dreamversing to other dreamworkers? Yes, but gear it to your available time, energy and recall. I couldn't sustain my pace. Got sick in mid-September, slowed and halted. As of late October, I'm going to resume, but not every day--maybe one a week, depending on my health.
